Resumen

Se presenta un caso de lesión craneocerebral por arma de fuego con una evolución atípicamente benigna, ya que concurren varios factores de riesgo, que, normalmente ensombrecen el pronóstico de estas patologías.

Estos factores de riesgo, presentes en este caso, son: el retraso de la limpieza quirúrgica de las heridas, la presencia de lesión bihemisférica y la afectación del sistema ventricular.

Se comprueba la buena evolución del paciente, contrastando los factores de riesgo presentes con la benignidad del cuadro.

Summary

We present a case of craniocerebral gunshot wound with an atypical good evolution. The case show several risk factors, that usually lead to a bad prognosis.

These risk factors are: delayed surgical treatment of the wound, bihemispheric injury and involvement of the ventricular system.

However, the patient had a good evolution.
