Se presenta un caso de meningioma intradiploico, ectópico, del techo orbitario. Las características clínicas, radiológicas y quirúrgicas, son coincidentes con los otros cinco casos previamente descritos en la literatura. Son enfermos en edad juvenil con exoftalmos como único síntoma, con una imagen redondeada, bien delimitada e hiperdensa del techo orbitario tanto en las radiografías simples como en la TAC, cuyo diagnóstico exacto no se alcanzó a priori en ningún caso y cuyo tratamiento quirúrgico dio un resultado clínico y cosmético plenamente satisfactorio.
A case of intradiploic meningioma of the orbital roof is presented. The clinical, radiological and surgical features of this rare type of meningioma are symilar to the other five cases previously reported in the literature. Exophthalmos is the predominante symptom and the plumlike opacity of the orbital roof the characteristic feature. Surgical and cosmetic results are good.
