Presentamos un caso clínico de trombosis de la arteria vertebral secundaria a un traumatismo cráneocervical, que cursó con un síndrome de Wallenberg de forma diferida. Coexisten simultaneamente una fractura en tres partes del atlas, un proceso neoformativo tipo osteoblastoma y una duplicación del foramen vertebral en la patogenia del síndrome isquémico de la arteria cerebelosa postero-inferior.
A clinical case of vertebral artery thrombosis secondary to head and neck trauma is reported. The patient presented with a Wallenberg syndrom delayed to the traumatism. A three-part fracture of the atlas, an osteoblastoma and duplication of the vertebral foramen concurred in the pathogenesis of the postero-inferior cerebellar ischemic syndrome.
