Presentamos un nuevo caso de melanocitoma meníngeo a nivel cervical superior. Los síntomas clínicos y los datos radiológicos semejaban un meningioma, pero tras la extirpación completa de un tumor oscuro adherido a la dura, los hallazgos patológicos revelaron que se trataba de un melanocitoma meníngeo, una entidad benigna rara.
A new case of a meningeal melanocytoma in the upper cervical area is presented. The clinical symptoms and the radiological features were similar to those of meningioma, but after complete removal of a dark tumor adherent to the dura, the pathological features showed a meningeal melanocytoma, a rare benign entity.
