Presentamos nuestra experiencia con un método de localización lesional preoperatoria craneorraquídea, mediante la correlación entre la imagen de la Resonancia Magnética y la vitamina E como marcador cutáneo. Esta técnica permite, de una manera simple pero precisa, el centraje de la incisión quirúrgica fundamentalmente en el abordaje a lesiones córtico-subcorticales de la convexidad cerebral.
We describe here our experience with a technique for the preoperative localization of craniospinal lesions, by means of the correlation between the magnetic resonance imaging and vitamin E as a cutaneous marking capsule. This simple and precise technique alIows, the centering of the surgical incision for planning the operative approach to cortical and subcortical brain lesions.
