Se describe un lipoma intradural extendiéndose a lo largo de toda la región cervical en un niño de 25 días haciendo énfasis en las dificultades que entraña su tratamiento quirúrgico toda vez que resulta especialmente difícil y en ocasiones peligroso realizar una exéresis total. Se revisa la literatura en este sentido y se sacan unas conclusiones.
A case of intradural lipoma affecting the cervical spinal cord of a 25 days old patient is reported. The management and surgical treatment are commented.
