Los aneurismas traumáticos intracraneales constituyen una rara complicación de los traumatismos craneoencefálicos. Presentamos un caso ilustrativo y revisamos la literatura; haciendo especial hincapié en la clínica, anatomía patológica, diagnóstico neurorradiológico y opciones de tratamiento quirúrgico.
Intracranial aneurysms are rare complications of head injury. An illustrative case is presented. A review of the literature focussed on the clinicopathological and radiological presentation of traumatic intracranial aneurysms is made and the options for surgical treatment are commented.
