Pseudotumor cerebral
Hipertensión intracraneal benigna
Derivación ventriculo-peritoneal
Summary

Seven patients suffering from pseudotumor cerebri, non responsive to medical treatment, have been shunted by means of a ventriculo-peritoneal catheter and valve. The results have been excellent, and therefore we think that ventricle-peritoneal shunting could-be the treatment of choice in this life or vision-threatening syndrome.

Key words:
Pseudotumor cerebri
Benign intracraneal hipertension
C.S.F. shunt
Ventricle-peritoneal shunt
