Efectuamos un estudio sobre 11 tumores intracerebrales malignos con objeto de evaluar, in vivo, la cinética celular de los mismos. La incorporación de H-TdR y su detección mediante autoradiografía nos proporciona el índice de marcado celular y la capacidad proliferativa tumoral. Describimos los hallazgos autoradiográficos y las características de marcado celular. Asimismo, este trabajo establece una correlación entre estos parámetros cinéticos y la supervivencia de los pacientes.
Eleven patients with various brain tumors received H-TdR at the time of craniotomy. Biopsied materials were fixed and sectioned. Autoradiographic methods were used to evaluate the label index (LI) of the tumors and the characteristics of the autoradiographic label. Our study retlects the cellular kinetic of human tumors in situ.
