Se presenta un caso de glioblastoma multiforme en el cerebelo de un niño al considerar que es una patología de presentación poco frecuente. Se comentan las diversas teorías sobre el origen de estos tumores. Se destacan los datos clínicos y anatómicos que nos hacen suponer que en este paciente asistimos a una degeneración maligna de un astrocitoma de puente.
An unusual case of cerebellar glioblastoma occuring in a child is presented. We analyze the theories in order to explain the origin of this tumonr, which in this particular case, arose from a malignant degeneration of a brain-stem astrocytoma.
