Se presenta un caso de hemangioma arteriovenoso profundo localizado en la región laterocervical posterior izquierda.
Se trata de una mujer de 49 años que consulta por una tumoración retrocervical izquierda de un año y medio de evolución.
El diagnóstico de anomalía vascular fue sugerido mediante TC cervical y angiografía de troncos supraaórticos.
Se efectuó una extirpación quirúrgica completa a través de un abordaje cervical posterior.
El diagnóstico anatomopatológico fue de hemangioma arteriovenoso.
The authors describe the case of a deep arteriovenous hemangioma located at the left posterior laterocervical region.
The patient is a 49 year-old woman with a retrocervical tumoral mass which evolved during the last eighteen months before admission.
Cervical CT and angiography suggested the diagnosis of vascular anomaly.
The mass was surgically removed through a posterior cervical approach and the histopathologic diagnosis was arteriovenous hemangioma.
