Presentamos un caso de un hematoma supratentorial sobre un lecho quirúrgico previo después de un abordaje suboccipital en posición sentada. Las hemorragias intracerebrales deben incluirse en el diagnóstico diferencial en caso de deterioro clínico después de cirugía de fosa posterior en posición sentada. Se discuten los mecanismos patogénicos y se proponen medidas terapéuticas para limitar la incidencia de esta complicación.
A case of a supratentorial haematoma on a previous neurosurgical bed after posterior fossa surgery is presented. Intracerebral haemorrhages must be included in the differential diagnosis of a clinic impairment in a patient after posterior fossa surgery in the sitting position. Pathogenic mechanisms are discussed and prophylactic measures are proposed.
