Sometimes the histopathological diagnosis is not reliable in predicting the clinical behaviour of intracranial meningiomas. We report the case of a patient with a ventricular meningioma behaving aggresively in spite of its benign histological appearance. This abnormal behaviour could only be detected by means of flow cytometry and steroid-receptor hormonal studies.
