Se presentan los casos de dos pacientes con larga supervivencia (9 y 11 años respectivamente) tras extirpación quirúrgica de metástasis cerebrales únicas de origen pulmonar. Se revisa la literatura y se señalan los factores de pronóstico en los casos de metástasis cerebrales.
The cases of two patients with prolonged survival (9 and 11 years respectively) following surgical removal of a brain metastasis of bronchogenic origin are presented. The literature is reviewed and factors of good prognosis in patients with brain metastasis are analyzed.
