Presentamos un caso de oligodendroglioma intraventricular. Se trata de una mujer de 18 años con un traumatismo craneal previo y en la cual la tumoración fue un hallazgo tomográfico casual detectado al ser sometida a exploración mediante TC. La paciente fue intervenida, realizándose una exéresis parcial del tumor a través de una abordaje frontal izquierdo. Se revisa la bibliografía sobre el tema comentando el grado de dificultad del diagnóstico clínico y radiológico.
We report a case of intraventricular oligodendroglioma.
This is the case of a 18 year old woman with previous history of head trauma in which the diagnosis of brain tumor is a casual finding after computed tomography examination.
The patient underwent surgical treatment, and the tumor was partially excised through a left frontal approach.
A bibliographical review is made, as well as sorne comments about the high grade of difficulty concerning clinical and radiological diagnosis.
