We present the case of a young adult with focal neurological symptoms caused by a non-invasive left intraventricular tumor. Conventional neuroimaging techniques could not determine the type of tumor. Plexoscintigraphy suggested the growing to be a choroid plexus tumor, which was confirmed by pathology after the operation. Moreover the plexus scintigraphy identified a tumor relapse at the follow-up and after a new surgical operation the diagnosis of a choroid plexus carcinoma was confirmed. We propose the use of plexoscintigraphy as an useful and selective technique for the diagnosis of choroid plexus neoplasms.
