Se presenta un caso de quiste intraparenquimatoso del tronco cerebral. El quiste presentó un crecimiento progresivo durante cinco años. Se intervino a través de una craniectomía suboccipital abriendo el suelo del IV ventrículo sin observarse membranas, obteniendo la desaparición de la sintomatología.
A case of a benign intraparenchymal cyst of the pons is presented. The size of the cyst increased during five years. A suboccipital craniectomy was performed and the cyst wall was opened in the floor of the fourth ventricle. The patient’s symptoms disappeared following the operation.
