The authors describe a modification of the surgical technique for reconstruction of the orbital roof after superior orbitectomy through a simple transcranial frontal approach with trephination. After resection of the tumor with microsurgical instrumentation, a reconstruction of the orbital roof is carried out using a titanium mesh to bridge the defect and avoid postoperatory neurophtalmologic complications. This type of reconstruction gives good aesthetic results and allows a correct follow-up with CT scan and MR avoiding the misleading artifacts of other prosthesics.
