A case of osteochondroma at T5 level, impinging on the spinal cord in a patient previously diagnosed of hereditary osteochondromatosis, is presented. Spinal compression is an infrequent event in the course of this disease. Nevertheless, one must consider this possibility in the follow-up of the patients with this relatively common bone dysplasia.
