Presentamos el caso de un paciente con absceso epidural cervical a consecuencia de osteomilitis por Brucella, que neurológicamente se manifestó con dolor cérvico-occipital. El paciente fue tratado con antibióticos resolviéndose la lesión y el cuadro clínico. Los estudios analíticos y de RM confirmaron el diagnóstico y posteriormente la curación.
We present a new case of epidural cervical abscess caused by osteomielitis due to Brucella infection. The patient's only neurological symptom was occipito-cervical pain. He was treated with antibiotics, and improved. Blood tests and the MR study were very important in the diagnosis and the follow-up of this patient who did no require surgery.
