Se presenta un caso de trayecto anómalo de la arteria carótida interna supraclinoidea por dentro del nervio óptico, asociado a la salida anómala de la artéria cerebral anterior contralateral. La paciente había sufrido una hemorragia subaracnoidea secundaria a un aneurisma de la carótida interna y en la cirugía se descubrió una segunda dilatación aneurismática sobre la arteria cerebral anterior.
The authors report an unusual case of anomalous intraoptic course of the supraclinoid internal carotid artery associated with an abnormal exit of the contralateral anterior cerebral artery. The patient suffered a subarachnoid hemorrhage due to an internal carotid artery aneurysm and during surgery a second aneurismal dilatation was found on the anterior cerebral artery.
