Abstract

We present the case of a 21-year-old male patient who, despite triple antituberculosis therapy, developed a right frontal hypodense expansive process which exhibited peripheral ring-like enhancement following intravenous contrast injection. With the diagnosis of tuberculous brain abscess, we performed complete extirpation by means of craniotomy. The clinical suspicion was confirmed histologically. Patient's evolution has been satisfactory, and he remains asymptomatic at the present time.
