Con adelantos técnicos y perfeccionamiento de los estudios podremos canalizar mejor los estudios angiográficos selectivos o supraselectivos, disminuyendo el número de angiografías diagnósticas convencionales.</p>" ] "en" => array:2 [ "titulo" => "Summary" "resumen" => "<p id="spar0025" class="elsevierStyleSimplePara elsevierViewall">Until the development and incorporation of MRi techniques in routine clinical practice, invasive diagnostic procedures were mandatory for the evaluation of the vascular course and intrinsic relationship between blood vessels and nearby adjacent normal and pathological tissue.</p><p id="spar0030" class="elsevierStyleSimplePara elsevierViewall">With MRi-angio, as part of the diagnostic preoperative protocol for the skull base, we can now evaluate non-invasively the major vascular supply for the head and neck thus reducing the number of invasive diagnostic studies.</p><p id="spar0035" class="elsevierStyleSimplePara elsevierViewall">After having performed and evaluated in the last 6 months 50 MRi-angio examinations in skull base processes, we retain this technique as sufficient in the majority of the cases to deliver accurate information regarding vascular course, blood vessel/tumor relationship and vascular patency (75–90% diagnostic quality).
