Se revisaron 43 pacientes diagnosticados de espondilolistesis ístmica, que fueron tratados quirúrgicamente mediante laminectomía descompresiva. Todos los pacientes presentaban severa lumbalgia y/o ciatalgia con una espondilolistesis grado I-II de Meyerding. El período de seguimiento osciló entre 9 y 75 meses. Se obtuvieron excelentes resultados en el 75% de los casos, buenos en el 17% y malos en el 8%. Los resultados son comparados con los de la literatura, comprobándose gran similitud en los resultados obtenidos con las diversas técnicas utilizadas.
Forty three patients with isthmic lumbar spondylolisthesis were operated upon, through a decompressive laminectomy. All the patients experienced backache with radicular pain, and presented a spondylolisthesis of grade I and II according to Meyerding.
Surgical results were excellent in 75% of the cases, good in 17%, and fair in 8%, after 9 to 75 months of follow-up. A comparison with the results obtained with other surgical procedures is made.
