En el postoperatorio inmediato se inició tratamiento con Albendazol (15<span class="elsevierStyleHsp" style=""></span>mg/Kg/día en 3 ciclos de 28 días) sin presentar recidivas en 14 meses de seguimiento.</p><p id="spar0010" class="elsevierStyleSimplePara elsevierViewall">Se revisan los resultados del tratamiento con AIbendazol en la hidatidosis cerebral y se resalta la importancia de un diagnóstico preoperatorio a fin de iniciar el tratamiento médico antes de la cirugía.
